Claudio Marturano

Born in Venice and, a pupil of Carlo Scarpa, he graduated in architecture there at IUAV. His professional career starts from a great interest for the glass design and lighting technology, in particular, it deepens issues related to glass production techniques: from manual creation of unique pieces in collaboration with various masters of Murano, to the creation of artisan and semi-industrial products in the district of Empoli and Colle Val d’Elsa. In its design path, he measures with technologies of materials such as crystal, porcelain, ceramics, metals and resins, often making various realities interact with craft and industrial products that contribute to the realization of the product.
