ALLEY CEILING AND FLOOR LAMP
The ALLEY ceiling and floor lamp adapts perfectly to different uses, making it effective and furnishing in different spaces and in the most varied furnishings, in both versions. Round in shape and made of metal painted with epoxy powder, it is equipped with lamp holders for E27 bulbs and is available in two models: in the version with two lights (40 and 30 centimeters in diameter) and in the version with one light (30 centimeters in diameter). Monochrome and metallic foil are the two different solutions to which it is possible to combine a variety of different colors. Like all our lighting fixtures, Alley can be customized according to the individual needs of our customers thanks to our company's “just in time” production. 80% of Alley's components are replaceable in case of damage, in line with the eco-design legislation which came into force in September 2021. Alley is made entirely in our factories with 100% Made in Italy products and elements.
What materials is Lumicom Alley made of?
Alley is made entirely at our factory with 100% Made in Italy products and elements. The item consists of one or two powder-coated metal circles, a ceiling rose (in the ceiling lamp version), a painted metal tube to support the circles and the lamp holders with attachment for E27 bulbs.
The idea
Alley is a lighting product born from the passion we have in the company for basketball." - the words of Alberto Baesso, Project Leader of Waypoint - "The two versions provided, with one or two lights, especially in the floor version, give the impression of a ball (the light bulb) entering the basket."
The processing
Once the metal plate arrives in our factory, it is cut and calendered to obtain the circular shape as required by the project. In the floor version, our artisans take care of cutting, through a circular saw, the tubular which is subsequently welded to the circle with the light source and to the metal base of the luminous article. All the metal product, in the next step, goes to the painting department to be colored with epoxy powder paint. In the gold, silver and copper version, the material leaves are applied manually by our craftsmen. Finally, during the assembly phase, the lamp holder with attachment for E27 bulbs and the electrical cables are inserted inside the tubular, for the floor version. The work is completed with the packaging, produced and made with recycled materials and water colors in compliance with sustainability and the green philosophy of our company.
