FORM CEILING AND WALL LAMP
The FORM ceiling and wall lamp is a lighting product suitable for interiors, which lends itself perfectly to different uses, making it effective and furnishing both as a wall lamp and as a ceiling lamp. Form, made of metal painted with epoxy powder, is equipped with directional cylindrical spotlights (diameter of 6 centimeters). The product is available in different combinations: with two, four and six spotlights. In addition to the multiple single-color versions, Form, like all our lighting fixtures, can be customized according to the individual needs of our customers thanks to the “just in time” production of our company. 80% of Form components are replaceable in case of damage, in line with the eco-design legislation which came into force in September 2021. Form is made entirely in our factories with 100% Made in Italy products and elements.
What materials is Form by Lumicom made of?
Form is composed of a cylinder and a metal canopy painted with epoxy powder, an internal frame, also in metal, equipped with GU10 bulb sockets.
The idea.
"With the Form ceiling and wall lamps we have thought of creating a product that gives our customers total freedom to decide where to direct the light points in the space in which they decide to install it." - the words of Giovanni Bortolan, Industrial Design of Waypoint - "To further increase their autonomy, we had the idea of providing Form in three different combinations: with two, four and six spotlights. In a phase like the one we are going through" - concludes Bortolan - "and with the different use of our homes, to have an editable and directional light point according to the various phases of the day and the different activities we carry out within the four domestic walls it is certainly a plus in step with the times."
The processing.
The rod of tube that arrives in our factories is cut through a band saw creating the pieces and the lengths of the cylinders, as foreseen by the project. In the next step, the box and canopy are made by laser cutting a metal plate. All the metal elements therefore pass into the painting department for coloring with epoxy powder paint. After assembling the ceiling rose with the spotlights, we proceed with the internal parts of the frame and the GU10 bulb attachment and end with the internal wiring of the components. The work is completed with the packaging, produced and made with recycled materials and water colors in compliance with sustainability and the green philosophy of our company.
