HALO SUSPENSION
The HALO suspension is perfectly suited to different uses, making it effective and furnishing in different spaces and in the most varied furniture sets. Round in shape, it is available in three different dimensional cuts: 90 centimeters in diameter (with two E27 lamp holders), 60 and 40 centimeters in diameter (a single E27 lamp holder). Monochrome and materic version with the inside of the rim covered in gold, silver or copper leaf are the two different configurations to which it is possible to combine a variety of colors. Like all our lighting fixtures, Halo can be customized according to the individual needs of our customers thanks to our company's “just in time” production. 80% of Halo components are replaceable in case of damage, in line with the eco-design legislation which came into force in September 2021. Flash is made entirely in our factories with 100% Made in Italy products and elements.
What materials is the Lumicom Halo pendant made of?
The Halo suspension is made entirely in our factory with 100% Made in Italy products and elements. The product consists of a powder-coated metal circle, a canopy, an internal frame equipped with an E27 bulb attachment (two for the 90 cm diameter version), a PVC electric cable and three steel support cables.
The idea.
"With Halo we wanted to recreate the magic of the halo that is generated, in special cases, around the Moon." - the words of Giulio Mancini, E-Commerce Manager of Waypoint - "When there are crystals in the atmosphere, the light is reflected by them giving rise to an opaque whitish halo, but if the light rays meet the crystals at a particular angle , the refraction is produced which gives rise to a halo with pale pink colors in the center and blue on the outside. For this reason, once we thought about the product, we decided to imagine an infinite series of possible colors so that everyone can choose which Moon to take home. "
The processing.
The metal plate that arrives in our factory is cut and calendered to obtain the circular shape as per project. Immediately afterwards, three pins are added for inserting the steel cables. The rim is then painted with epoxy powder paint and, in the gold, silver and copper version, the metal leaves are manually applied by our craftsmen. Finally, during the assembly phase, the ceiling rose, lamp holders, electric cable and the three steel support cables are inserted into the pins. The work is completed with the packaging, produced and made with recycled materials and water colors in compliance with sustainability and the green philosophy of our company.
