TOKYO FLOOR LAMP
The TOKYO floor lamp is a lighting item suitable for interiors equipped with an E27 bulb attachment and metal elements painted with epoxy powder. With a diffuser of 35 centimeters in diameter and a height of 170 centimeters, Tokyo, with a simple and contemporary design, is available in two variants: monochrome and metallic leaf, where the inside of the diffuser is manually covered in gold, silver or copper leaf. Like all our lighting fixtures, Tokyo can be customized according to the individual needs of our customers thanks to our company's “just in time” production. 80% of Tokyo's components are replaceable in case of damage in line with the eco-design legislation which came into force in September 2021. Tokyo is made entirely in our factories with 100% Made in Italy products and elements.
What materials is Lumicom's Tokyo floor lamp made of?
Tokyo is made entirely at our factory with 100% Made in Italy products and elements. The item consists of a base, a tube, a metal diffuser and a PVC electrical cable. Tokyo is equipped with lamp holders with E27 bulb attachment. In the gold, silver and copper leaf version it is equipped with material leaves applied manually by our craftsmen.
The idea.
"Tokyo was born from a project of metropolitan linearity typical of the Japanese country." - the words of Brunella Reginato, Director of Way Point - "We wanted to design and create a modern and multifunctional lighting item that, thanks to its lines and by virtue of the three versions produced (suspension, ceiling and floor lamp), gives freedom of choice and of furniture to all our customers. The floor lamp version is enjoying particular success, even compared to the other versions provided by the production department of our company."
The processing.
The metal plate that arrives at our factory is cut in the shape of a disc and inserted into the press with the mold mounted. Once the raw structure of the light diffuser has been made, the metal processing department creates the base of the floor lamp, through laser cutting, and the tubular of the same which is shaped through a guide to obtain the shape envisaged by the project. All metallic materials subsequently pass into the painting department for coloring through epoxy powder paint. During the assembly phase, all the parts of the product are joined and the transparent PVC cable and the lamp holder with connection for E27 bulbs are added. The work is completed with the packaging, produced and made with recycled materials and water colors, in compliance with sustainability and the green philosophy of our company.
